Here and now @Bellemoon99
Breathe in, breathe out, I’m here, I’m now.
Abandonment, loss, doubt, and grief have painted their marks within my soul.
I don’t regret it, they contrast with the kindness I’ve received, the goals I have achieved, everything that curves my lips and makes my heart beat faster.
Light and shadow, without them I couldn’t have a gorgeous painting. The minor chords of a magnificent melody.
Strong never meant not feeling pain, oh no, not at all. We fall, we suffer, and sometimes it takes a while before you get back up.
The secret to resilience hid in gratitude, in knowing that despite the hardships it’s worth to have a gentle heart.
Covered in scars you see me standing, a tree who has been carved by human’s knife and struck by nature’s lightning. However, I stand. I reach towards the skies, and feed the Earth below.
I’m a river who has overflown, who has been drought, and today keeps flowing. I must admit my waters have drowned and hurt, but they have also quenched and healed.
Kindness can reside in a broken heart, the light seeping through all the cracks and bathing this world with a myriad of tones.
Look at yourself, you’re a masterpiece in the making. A story with conflict, with plot twists, and happy moments. Some pages were torn, and some of the words are blurred, but you’re here and you’re now.
Duality can never leave our lives, it is our essence, and our nature. We have hurt, we have erred, but our heart is kind. We have fallen, we have cried, but we’re strong inside.
