The Letting Go @Retrophaze
Topic - Forgiveness
How am I supposed to let you go when you aren't truly gone?
You are flesh and blood and only miles away, only hours away
How am I supposed to let you go when you aren't truly gone?
It feels like I kissed the lids of your closed eyes yesterday
How am I supposed to let you go when you aren't truly gone?
I can still feel us intertwined in your bed and I felt safe.
How am I supposed to let you go when you aren't truly gone?
When all I want is to hear your voice...and to be able to forgive you.
So I can let go.

New grandmother and mother of three young men. I enjoy writing, painting, and photography. I write what I feel in hopes that it's relatable, and helps others in the world not feel so alone in what they may be going through, or have been through.
